Ensure text is readable in data visualizations and information graphics. Small text is generally harder to read, and should be avoided where possible. Make sure the text is not obstructed by other chart elements, and has sufficient contrast against its background.

Quite interesting—I feel the human intelligence behind the current doc, but it also has genAI-esque bits, like tortured 3-item lists and excessive recaps. For me, this is ok. I did ask about genAI use before I saw the doc but forgot to pursue the answer. #AmEditing #Edibuddies

Academic writers: remember, too many lists dilutes your message. You want to be thorough and detailed, but a reader is going to miss your point if you inundate them with sentences that are just dense lists ⭐ #AmEditing #WritingTips #AcademicWriting

Caught a potential time zone error: an online event in Sept was said to start at 9 a.m. CET (which is Central European Time), but the host country would still be in CEST (summer time). A good case for 1. checking and 2. using the UTC offset. #AmEditing (Also: theclarityeditor.com/2021/07/27/e...)

Acorn palette. There’s evidence that the human brain really likes gentle colour gradations (probs due to ancient foraging mental reward pathways) so this is for your noggin-pause & zoom in for a tiny break from angsty scrolling with some nice nuts 🌿

More organizations seem to be moving away from using their full names to an acronym version. That can work (like FBI, IBM, UNICEF). But is it really effective? Just because it's short doesn't mean it's better. #AmEditing

This is a dog.

We are looking at a close up of a medieval painting of what apparently is a dog. It has four legs, paws and a tail but then appears to have a furry human face with full lips, doleful eyes and a very exact centre parting. The dog had long curly white grey fur. The dog is thinking if they are infact a dog.
