Sad to hear about Darrell Waltrip. Maybe the guy I consider the GOAT. His voice accompanied so many fav moments, and so many emotional ones. It breaks my heart, but I'm glad the sport is safer these days. I'm also glad they specifically named CTE as a likely factor.

manami kakudo is simply the greatest musician in the world it's so obvs why Hosono has trusted her w the marimba ... and water bowl?? in his live band. concerts seem so full of people talking lately but when with Hosono off the stage, Radio City was dead silent for Kakudo and Ikuko. Incredible.

I think I've committed to keep shooting OM/Olympus/Panasonic tbh, after shooting both Canon and Sony I just keep ending up back there. The size makes it easier to just pocket and bring it to gigs casually. And the quality is arguably just as good.
