Finished Han Kang’s book We Do Not Part. Brilliant. She has such incredible visual writing and deep empathy for the horrors of humanity. Dreamy. Snowy. Surreal. I’ve read nearly all her available translated books. Haunting, heavy S Korean history, but beautiful visuals.

Received notes from people smarter than me. They want me to "Yellow Paint" my Korean video. I agree heavy. I don't want to be misinterpreted and I need to be clear so I'm not feeding into Techno-Orientalism. So pushing it back, yet again, to add back what I initially cut out.

Yesterday's AEW Dynamite was intensely beautiful. There truly is no other art form like pro wrestling. The only format that can make meaning of both real life and in universe stories without saying a single word.

The sentence "S'ils n'ont pas de pain, qu'ils mangent de la tachiguisoba" is variation on a citation often (wrongly) attributed to Marie Antoinette with brioche instead of tachiguisoba.

I did research on why Japanese copyright is the way it is and it would make an interesting video. American economics has a term for Japan. Galapogos Syndrome. But a lot of what a video would be connects with pop culture, films and society. It’d be about the lost decade. Could be interesting.

Channel is fully restored. Case is closed. Talking head videos are harder for me. The long and short of it is that if you've been a follower for a while, you'd know I barely covered STARDOM so how much really changes but knowing your support for me was so strong. #joshi youtu.be/3ryG2zE-IvA?...

After 4-5 years of doing YouTube content, I can say now the most hateful comments I had to delete/ban was when I made a video on Mercedes Mone. Second was probably Riho’s video. On a personal level, I’ve received death threats, parasocialism etc. but the last year has been quieter. I liked that.
