Danelectro Hand Vibrato 4021, solid/semi-hollow body, electric guitar with 2 pickups in black circa 1964. This is a Danelectro Hand Vibrato model 4021, double-cutaway, double pickup, electric guitar, made in Neptune New Jersey circa 1964. It has a black finish with a white pickguard on which all of the electronics are mounted, white tolex binding, concentric/stacked volume and tone knobs and a batwing style headstock. It also features a floating, metal, four-way adjustable bridge with a rosewood saddle and a whammy bar. This instrument will be appreciated by players and collecters. Not only does it have a great feel and a wonderful sound, it is also a good looking guitar that has held up well over the past 60+ years. The guitar is identical to the 3021 Jimmy Page played in the live Led Zeppelin shows with the exception of the vibrato and the "batwing" headstock. It includes an orginal hardshell case.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

From July 2022

A light digital drawing in red pencil. There is a figure sitting on the ground at the base of a broken, unrecognizable staircase. At the top of the stairs, there are two heads sharing one neck. One of the heads has a visible eye, and the other is just an outline. Along the side of the stairs, there are panels with fuzzy images of balusters, some so unfocused that they resemble shadows or streaks.

AVALON AV2T - 2pu sunburst solidbody electric guitar Japan 1968. Sold. Request-Japanese gtrs: Avalon made famous by The Shaggs. Unique sunburst, serious woodgrain & trem. Check The Shaggs demoing it: theshaggs.bandcamp.com/track/my-pal... www.vintagesilvertones.com #VintageGuitar #Guitar #Avalon

This is an Avalon model AV-2T, double-cutaway, solidbody electric guitar. It was made in Japan circa 1968. It has a translucent sunburst finish with two pickups. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. It is a great playing guitar which will be appreciated by collectors, players and, of course, The Shaggs fans. Yes, this is the exact same model guitar THE SHAGGS used for their truly unique sound way back in 1969. Could it be one of theirs? We will probably never know but you can still rock that incredible tone they achieved nearly sixty years ago with it. You too can discover the Philosophy of the World!. It comes with a good quality gig bag.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

DANELECTRO WILD THING - 2pu black solidbody reissue China 2011. For sale. Next up on request list: WEIRD: The WILD THING! A 60s Dano factory 1-off put into prod. Insane cutaways black/white w/dynamic 2 lipstick pu's! www.vintagesilvertones.com/product/dane... #VintageGuitar #Guitar #Danelectro

This is a Wild Thing reissue, six string electric guitar made by Danelectro in China in 2011 with a black, high-gloss finish and white Tolex binding. The guitar is 100% original and is basically new-old stock. This is a rare, limited edition guitar. It is a double cutaway, masonite top and bottom with a plywood frame. The original version of the Wild Thing was a one-off and never in production at Danelectro.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

The pickups and electronics are the classic Danelectro style with stacked tone and volume controls for each pickup with a three-way toggle switch to choose between neck, bridge or both pickups. In the middle position the pickups are louder and act like humbuckers. This model was a limited run and has unique pickups and tone. They’re strong and bright single coils with a chrome finish. And, these single-coils are considerably more clean sounding than most. The classic Danelectro-style bridge is adjustable for height and intonation. It comes with the original Danelectro gig bag, warranty card, hang tag, original brochure, and wrench to adjust the neck (the adjustment must be under the nut or in the neck-pocket since it’s not visible on the body.)Description from VintageSilvertones.com
