Maybe! They have to do something called Titration to get the dose right. My friend at works says she pictures it as someone feeding you pills and seeing how much makes you turn blue. I quite like that.

I'm on a 15 month waiting list just to get the drugs. It's not a fucking choice, it's a mental health condition! "I think I might have diabetes!" "Ok, so you'll need to wait two years before you go onto a waiting list for an assessment, then another year for the insulin you'll need!" Fuck sake.
