They worded the Bluesky post in a way that implies different meaning to the article itself with the intention to draw clicks. That is the definition of clickbait.

Nice clickbait post. Makes it sound like Nolan thinks people are being harsh about AI and is defending it. For anyone interested, not the case. He simply says that people are being harsh in judgement and prefer real stuff. Article is a total nothing burger.

"I've never seen a more rapid wholesale dismissal of a supposedly foundational jump in technology in my lifetime," he said. "So much energy has been expended on bringing in AI, but if you look at that generation's reaction, they're utterly rejecting it."

"Their judgement of AI slop has been immediate and harsh," Nolan continued. "They see it for what it is very quickly - and it's much easier for them to identify it, because it grew out of an online world they know really well. And while that doesn't mean that every aspect of the technology is useless or meaningless, in film-making it's hitting at exactly the wrong time. After years of driving towards heavily virtual environments, we're seeing a renewed interest in more tactile, more real forms of storytelling."

@norainthefuture.tv Odd question for you, but I know you've done ROM patch stuff before. If I were to play Emerald on my PC via a cart and a GB Operator, could I apply something like an RNG fix to work with that whilst in the GB Operator?

We know we don't need a purchase. That isn't the issue. The issue is the lack of accessibility due to it being an in-store event with nowhere near enough codes available that have been scalped to extort fans in a time when online mystery gifts exist. Absolutely ridiculous.

Taser9001 @taser9001.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

The #Pokemon support network is a joke. Constant automated responses that are irrelevant & don't acknowledge the issue. The shiny Koraidon/Miraidon distribution has been a total disaster, & all the automated response says is, "You do not need a purchase. Sorry for the confusion!"

Taser9001 @taser9001.bsky.social · 26/09/2025

These #Pokemon event distributions are terrible. Many countries have had no event announced yet, and they're in store events which makes it difficult for disabled players. Hardly accessibility friendly. Do better TPC.

Last few years is crazy work. Flint’s water crisis, poisoned water for the sake of AI, the response to Hurricane Katrina are all political violence. When using “violence” in this way, it is not singled out to the physical definition. No matter how many middle men you add, violence is violence.

Getting into photo mode & editing again. Before and after of an edit. Original edit's lighting looks a little flat, particularly on Cloud & his sword. New edit has more yellow to better match the flames, more intense flame lighting and a more 3D feel to the lighting on Cloud & the sword.

An edit of Cloud using Firebolt Blade. I took this picture and edited it last year.

My new edit. The image now has more of a 3D feel to its lighting, better illuminating Cloud whilst also better highlighting the shadows cast on him. I've also added a touch of yellow to the overall image to better match the light of flames.
