It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

KNOW YOUR
RIGHTS
IN CASE OF ICE:
CONOCE TUS DERECHOS
EN CASO DE ENCUENTRO CON ICE:

DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR.
ICE cannot enter your home without a warrant signed by a judge.
Tell the agents to show you the warrant by sliding it under the door.
NO ABRAS TU PUERTA.
ICE no puede entrar a tu casa sin una orden firmada por un juez. Diles a los agentes que te muestren la orden deslizándola debajo de la puerta.

ASK THEM
TO LEAVE.
If ICE doesn't have a warrant, tell them you do not consent for them to enter your home and ask them to leave. At work, ICE cannot enter employee-only areas without permission.
2

REMAIN SILENT.
You have the right to remain silent.
If the agents ask you questions, tell them,
"I wish to remain silent."
PERMANECE EN SILENCIO.
Tienes derecho a permanecer en silencio.
Si los agentes te hacen preguntas, diles:
"Deseo permanecer en silencio".

THE GHOST WOODS meets THE SILENCE FACTORY in WOODBINE, a Gothic thriller in which a lonely stained-glass artist must reassemble the fractured pieces of his memory before a malevolent creeper destroys his last chance at love. #2025pit #A #HF #T

Title screen of an agent's guide to Woodbine with a floral patterned background

Pitch text: The Ghost Woods meets The Silence Factory in Woodbine, a Gothic thriller set in post-war Hampshire, UK, that explores love and nature as twin entities in their power both to heal and destroy.

Stained-glass artist Tom Piper has lost his home to the bailiffs, his wife to another man and his daughter to an argument he can’t take back. But redemption comes in the form of Mary Goddard, the enigmatic owner of a crumbling country estate, who is willing to pay any price to restore a set of windows depicting the haunting love story of Tristram and Isolde.

After a violent altercation with Mary’s delusional twin sister brings Tom and Mary together, their unlikely friendship quickly blossoms into something more. But when the lunatic sister starts talking sense at the same time as a mysterious creeper proceeds to wreak havoc throughout the house – and upon Tom himself – he is forced to question whether the feelings he has for Mary, and she for him, are the real thing or a madness all their own.

Image shows a mood board featuring a fire, a moon on a misty night, a woman looking at herself in a handheld mirror and a grand doorway in a stately home.

Comparison titles showing book covers of The Puzzle Wood by Rosie Andrews, The Ghost Woods by CJ Cooke, The Asylum by Karen Coles and The Silence Factory by Bridget Collins.

Opening lines of Woodbine:

The bride’s face was missing, that was the first thing I noticed. No one had escaped unscathed – the groom had lost everything from the waist down and the witnesses had been obliterated – but the neat hole at the neckline of her dress looked deliberate, as if a child had staved it in with a slingshot after the blast. I suppose that’s almost precisely what happened, though I didn’t know it at the time. I tutted and shook my head. Such a shame.

Behind me, my new employer cleared her throat. ‘What do you think? Is there any hope?’

A robin's egg, cracked, revealing blackness. Entitled "Cowbird"

An excerpt from the book "Cowbird", on a blurred forest background. The excerpt reads:

They find the shells of two cowbird eggs a few days later, broken in the woodpile. One is just cracked, mostly whole. Through the break in the other egg, Valentine can see the cowbird, pinkish, partially-formed. She tries to show Mira, but Mira doesn't want to look.

"What do you think happened?" she asks. She puts her face right up to the crack, close enough to see the shape of its beak and one black, lidded-over eye.

"Maybe the robin figured it out."

Valentine thinks about this. She peeks one more time into the broken shell. Then she drops the whole egg into a gap in the woodpile. "Good," she says.

The Pitch!
It’s the end of a hot Iowan summer, and twenty-four-year-old Matilda West is gearing up for her sophomore year of college at Oak Ridge University. A scholarship student, she is swayed by the suggestion of her favorite professor to join a study group he’s created for his Classical Mythology course. The students in the group adopt her quickly, but Matilda’s past has made her wary and anxious of new people and their intentions.
When she finds herself drawn toward two of the people in the group, including an unexplainable feeling like she’s met one of them before, Matilda is thrown in the middle of a situation she couldn’t have seen coming. Weird dreams and the fact that her life might not be what she thought it was force Matilda to question whether her fate was already decided, or if someone else is pulling the strings… How does one juggle school work, healing trauma, finding love, and supporting a diverse community, while also fighting for their fate and the rest of the world?
