After having 1) read the article, 2) gone through and blocked every single person who commented "this gave voice to all my *complicated* thoughts!", and 3) noticed that a good 75-80% of those comments were from men, I think Flora needs to step back and reflect on DeSimone's First Axiom.

Every time we're forced to talk about Joe Rogan I am reminded of my best and most immutable axiom: Nothing that only men like is cool.

Everyone is mad about this so let me just clarify that I'm 100% correct.

this essay closes with this paragraph. i would like you to read that paragraph, and while you do, just repeat the phrase, 'he raped his girlfriend while she was unconscious' in your head see how much this flowery, forgiving language holds up
The more arduous position is to leave several truths standing alongside one another, where my anger at the situation, the internet discourse, and Jacob Geller’s actions can coexist. Somewhere between absolution and annihilation, there has to be a moral vocabulary capable of describing what happens after a human being does something unforgivable and nevertheless remains human. I don’t know what that vocabulary is yet; I only know that I desperately want us to keep looking for it.

Mark Carney is privatizing airports and allowing foreign investors (mainly American) to buy up the country. Slashing corporate tax rates and offering up vast amounts of resources for mining and extraction corporations. The country is for sale. Liberal voters were duped.
UST IN: Canada has announced to reduce marginal effective tax rate on new business investment to 6.4% from 13%, the lowest among the G7, and half the rate in the US, per the Globe and Mail

In panel two we zoom in a little on young Sarah's face. She continues, "An astounding career! An amazing house! World peace!"
The title for the last two panels is "Adult Me".
In panel three we see adult Sarah, looking down.
In panel four we zoom out and see she is in front of a basil plant. She simply says "I want to grow a basil plant".
