I was told years ago that I must rest BEFORE I feel the need to. That by the time I think that I should rest soon it's too late. I do try to plan rests. But life gets in the way. I was also told to cut out input. Ie eyes closed, preferably in a quiet place. It does help if I am disciplined about it.

In this @phillipspobrien.bsky.social makes the excellent point, that Starlink dependency is as much as a threat to the US as it is globally. A malevolent operator, making political donations in the hundreds of millions, could easily use the on/off switch to impact domestic political opponents.

VOTE! Help others. Tell them to check their registration. Keep checking right up till voting. Don't trust it will stay the same. Help people get to the vote. Organise transport,go with others, groups. Especially for those likely to be targeted.

I wonder if this is for when the NAION is actively happening or also on damage already caused by it. I know somebody, who lost most of his sight due to NAION. What's left fluctuates. Maybe that activity in the cells could be enhanced by this. I hope @moorfieldsbrc.bsky.social is watching.
