destiny #ff7 #ff7r #aerti

a digital painting of aerith gainsborough and tifa lockhart from final fantasy 7's remake trilogy holding hands in a prayer. aerith solemnly looks at a costume hanger with her dress and jacket from original game. tifa, too, next to coat hanger with her costume from original, is standing with her back to the viewer, walking — the pose shows some degree of uncertainty. her head is slightly turned to aerith's side, just enough to see the single teardrop earring

I commissioned @monstressart.bsky.social and look at this amazing art they created for Wild Card!! I'm so happy with it ahhhhhhh (love that expression, he's going to kill a motherfucker) #RenoOfTheTurks #ShinraFuckers

An artwork designed to look like a playing card, featuring Reno from FF7. The top half shows Reno lit in Red, with a 'try me' grin. The bottom half shows Reno lit in blue, with his hood up, and a pensive expression. The text reads 'Wild Card'. A blue cuahl and a red cinnabar moth are in the corners.

The flipped version of the playing card, with the blue-lit pensive Reno on top, and the red-lit aggressive Reno on the bottom.

What goes on in that beautiful, bald head of Rude’s? It’s taking me months to figure it out #WIPWednesday #fanfic #Shinrafuckers #RudeoftheTurks #RenooftheTurks

New assignments brought new focus.
New energy. But Rude did not feel it as he left the meeting with Reno at his side. Neither of them spoke as they headed to their bar, feet carrying them there without verbal confirmation that was where they were headed. The silence felt stagnant. A new job, but it felt like more of the same.

No. Not more of the same. Old. It felt like more of the the way things were before.

You hurt, you maimed, you blackmailed, you bribed. You did unspeakable things that you did not speak of. You stayed silent. You killed. Might be a life whose taking meant that others would get to live.
Sometimes, it was just a life.
Sometimes, it was a lot of them.

You did what was required.

Walls. They were always there when
Rude needed them. He shrugged one shoulder. The other. Adjusted his tie.
His sunglasses. A job was a job. And when it was done it was done. No need to feel any way about it, one way or another.

A low whistle cut the silence.

"Trouble in paradise, eh?"

Reno's whistle sounded like it always did. Piercing. Sharp. His voice sounded like he was trying to sound like he always did. So Rude responded the way he usually would.

"Hmm. Think trouble is the default
state."
