i always feel myself the anime influence really obvious in my art but it turns out moreso at cons/on insta people compare it to 90s-2000s cartoon network/nick shows or total drama island

when the seagulls cry

A loosely rendered illustration of Kinzo Ushiromiya from Umineko: When They Cry sitting in front of a portrait of Beatrice. He holds a white chess king piece in his hand. Around him, his adult children (Eva, Krauss, Rudolph, Rosa) inspect the portrait with a menacing air about them. There is overall atmosphere of tension and unrest.

Illustration of Battler and Beatrice from Umineko. Beatrice appears to be coming out of her portrait painting and taunting Battler, grabbing at him and laughing. She's surrounded by some golden butterflies and one of the closed room puzzle diagrams is obscured behind them.

Small, one panel black and white comic featuring Lambdadelta, Lion, and Will from Umineko. Lambdadelta is casually holding a bottle of wine and speaking to Battler and Beatrice offscreen. She says "Congrats and thanks for the invite guys! I brought some wine - Oh, and this woke gay couple" In the background, Lion says "I'm not woke" and Will says "I'm not gay" they both look irritated.
