Little costs of the heat wave. Planned to go on a bike ride with my 9yo today. By the time I'd put the bins out, it was clear that any kind of physical exertion would be unpleasant at best. So instead of some healthy outdoor fun (y'know, kids being kids and all that) we ended up inside. Rubbish!
