A brief 25 second promo for our upcoming Japanese dates in Tokyo and Osaka that is basically me using old video footage, harsh noise and nice fonts to ape the feel of an incoming Godzilla about to trash a cityscape.

Konichiwa my friend. A print of a poster for our upcoming Japanese tour is available now on our Bandcamp. It’s very nice. You get a download of a new version of Warhorse with it too. You’re welcome.

A load of boring text about our second album being one year old. TLDR Constant Noise is a simple anti-war album made in the lofts of Teesside, Tyneside and West Yorkshire. It opened doors for us we presumed were welded shut. It's done alright.

I know I know I know we should just "stick to the music" and shut up, but we can't help it. Bloody lefty snowflakes. It's good to talk. So apropos of absolutely nothing, wink wink, here's something that we were saying on our November tour about the town that I'm proud to call home.

Proud that Constant Noise got recognised in The Line of Best Fit’s albums of the year. It was an absolute shit to get made, convincing people it was worth making was one thing, getting it over the line was even more difficult. Pure chaos. We’ll take any and every plaudit.

Been audiobooking this as it’s read by Reiner and Tap. If they want to continue with the Tap brand they should make a period piece dramatisation of the book, it’s incredible. The backstorys, how they connect, how they graft to get it made etc all hit better than the sequel.

I’ve had more interaction and engagement on the ol insta with a couple of pictures of old Volvos I took while at SWN in Cardiff than anything else this month. Which tells you a lot about a) our demographic b) our popularity as an experimental noise act.
