Happy Monday y'all 😔

Two sad looking Servbots from the Mega Man Legends series. Above them is a text box that reads "I really hate working--I'd rather be playing video games."

I've reported 2-3 stories in my career that have sucked the spirit out of my body and this was one of them. But! Seeing the response of the fgc to help their brother genuinely put it right back. Im humbled to have been trusted with this. Help your neighbors friends those in need are all around you.

I’ve spent years of my life trying to explain to people that anti-trans conservatism naturally flows from their belief that children in the American nuclear family are not individuals with autonomy, but instead property of the parents and state, and this guy just… tweeted it out

“Children are our biggest export in the state of Missouri. We need to protect our biggest export,” said Rep. Jamie Gragf (R-Ozark). “We’re damaging them, because this is unfounded science.”

:( unfortunately new manager told me that i have to go help out on tuesday in old position but at least its just the morning and hopefully i can hold myself back and let the temp try to do things on her own before stepping in

000

the weed has finally kicked in so im feeling normal now. goodbye bluesky

000

i dunno. i feel bad for her i really do but at the same time the thing she's asking for doesn't exist. like shes a float - she comes in when they need staff for a long/indeterminate amount of time. she both seems to understand and doesn't i guess

000

a lot of my organization methods exist for a reason. and im showing her that im doing them and trying to explain why im doing them. but then she just isn't paying attention. this is how i survived at this job. you have to keep notes and keep yourself accountable. its so important

100

and the temp is trying to get her head around this stuff but. she's also not Listening to me really. she wants a step by step guide on how to do this job, but... one doesn't exist. that's the nature of a plastic surgery department at a hospital. thats why im trying to leave

100

i literally have. one day left at current position before i start new job next week and. they want me to come back on tuesday next week. like. no??? no????? like if my new manager agrees i have to do it, but like.... i gave over a month's notice that i'm changing jobs like. come on.
