I have built some in the past, and it's not hugely complicated as I recall, but not for the narrative dice system which adds a few black dice to the roll

#axelreads #11 Final installment in the binge for the moment (I think) Notebook by Tom Cox. Again absolutely delightful and makes me want to keep a diary or commonplace book

#axelreads #10 The binge continues. Slightly less relaxing but still delightfully odd

Make any comment about the evil of AI on the internet and you will inevitably get people saying, "Ah, but you can't halt progress." You know what else people thought was progress not long after it came into common use? Asbestos.

Yep, have done for years in slightly varying ways. It's just a very flexible tool that adapts to me rather than the other way round. The way Sly does it is very close to what I have landed on as well

#axelreads #9 Continuing my Tom Cox streak with this. Again just exactly the kind of thing I need to be reading right now. Just so relaxing for me

After a more eventful trip than one might have hoped (my fault, but I blame Postnord) I finally have my hands on my @bobbyllew.bsky.social book haul! Absolutely gorgeous books, I can't wait to read them and Robert was incredibly patient and helpful when everything went terribly wrong for a while.

Please be vocal about not using AI. We have to normalize it. No "I'm not going to say that because it should be assumed. I'm not going to give them this". We don't have time for that shit ideological shit right now. NOW is the time to capitalize on waning favorability. Ppl want human made

It gave me an intense desire to go walking in the woods! Only issue was that reading the book that makes me want to go walking in the woods proved somewhat incompatible with the actual activity of walking in the woods. Now on to 21st century Yokel 😁

#8 Ring the hill by Tom Cox @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social. This is the first of his books I read but wow. It will not be the last. It evoked more emotions and quieting of my soul than rambling accounts of walking up hills should be able to and I absolutely love it!

#AxelReads #6 Bookshops and Bonedust by Travis again. Also a stunning book, if a touch less special to me perhaps. Still lovely though!
