You will be ahead of so many comic artists if you learn lettering. Even if you don't plan to be a pro letterer, it goes a long way in improving your composition when you're considering how the reader's eyes will travel through the page. It's part of comics grammar. Just doing this goes a long way 👇

I will admit, I do not really post my art terribly much, I get rather anxious to do so. Messy comic, but I feel a lot of people can relate to this position. A nice comment goes a long way, truthfully.

5 Panel Comic. Page One.
1: Person drawing with joy, with the note that they are drawing something personal.
2: The person sweats and touches the back of their head, saying "This took so long to draw! I'm actually kind of proud of it."
3: They look at their computer and tablet screens, with the caption "But... what if...?"
4: A zoomed out image of the person shaking, surrounded by people laughing and looking at them with disgust. The monologue states "What if people hate my idea? What if they mock me? Maybe I'm not at a good enough skill level to do this."
5: The person looks to his side, still shaking and nervous. "What if I'm never going to be good enough?"

Each panel shows an increasing level of anxiety.

6 Panel Comic. Page Two.
1: The person looks down at his drawing with a look of melancholy. He comments, "But I put so much work into this piece. I was really proud for once."
2: He picks up his phone, commenting to himself, still seeming anxious but gives a small smile, "I'll just share it with my friends. I think that would be okay!"

6: The camera zooms out a bit as their computer shows a stream of likes on their drawing, and the person looks surprised to see that people enjoyed their art. They are sweating a bit, still holding the phone closely.

By the end of the comic, there seems to be much less anxiety on the main character.

I guess I'm never using Google Docs to write anything ever again which is a shame because of how handy it is to share and collaborate on things. Caoin is the exception because I dont know any similar doc writing sites that allows online viewing to public at all. If anyone knows any lmk
