Oh, and has been on a year long assault against Indigeous people and their land rights. A bill was changed recently to remove explicit wording that Indigenious people had the right to clean water. When Carney spoke at a summit last year he booted the press from the room when his opposition spoke.

Carney is truly the Reagan of Canada. A calming, paternalistic figure in a period of apocalyptic uncertainty who galvanizes the economy with short-sighted right wing fiscal policies. And like Reagan, every disaster that Canada encounters in the future will be traceable to his administration.

If you'd like, I can elaborate with sources about the harms our government is committing or prepping for in the near future

I've once seen someone say "Microsoft bought Bungie 20 years ago and got Halo, and they've been trying to replicate that ever since". I think that was on the money, given how known they are for being hands-off on studio management. Their acquisitions have just been them rolling the slot machine.

I've been watching the english dub with friends for the first time recently and its great. The beginning has a strong hook, but the show really hits its stride after the Dark Tournament Arc. That's when I understood why people still have so much praise for it decades later.

Glad to see Muramasa coming to PC. I asked Vanillaware’s George Kamitani why he hasn’t put his other games on PC and he said he totally wants to, but it’s up to the publisher to finance the ports. So if you want 13 Sentinels, Dragon’s Crown, Unicorn Overlord, Odin Sphere etc. on PC, make some noise.

If Star Wars shows actually stood for something, instead of chasing the vibes of better stories without thought to the substance that made them good, fandom toxicity would lessen.

For all the problem people say there is with modern Star Wars media, I think it all truly boils down to this. Basically every Star Wars show has nothing to say. Andor could have had worse sets, acting, editing etc, and it still would have stood above the rest because its actually about something.

Even when Filoni supposedly took over the reins during Season 5 he was still producing episodes mandated by George. Like the Banking Clan arc in season 6. Man never truly spearheaded Clone Wars.

surprised-wizard.bsky.social @surprised-wizard.bsky.social · 20/05/2026
Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order? Technically Filoni but only conceived to prevent George from killing her off. George than improved the actual scene itself. Multiple famous battle droid lines? The sound team.

People say his "bread and butter is animation" but if you actually read interviews from behind the scenes on Clone Wars you learn a huge swathe of the creative decisions (both good and bad) were made by George Lucas or others on the team. Bringing Maul back? Lucas. Sidious Fight? Lucas.
