Pedestrians are more likely to be killed by heavier cars – and even more so if the vehicle is taller, Australian-first research has found.

After a question in Estimates last week, I recall the explanation given was that the relevant contract is the same as that of other secretaries and there is no provision for an extraordinary payout. It was during the Premier's evidence before the House of Assembly committee, I think.

We're terrible neighbors right now, and it hurts to keep caring. Care anyway. You are needed.

Dear America, I'm Canadian, and even from across the border I can tell your gentlest people are doing the heaviest lifting. They are feeding people, protecting people, defending people, comforting people, organizing people, and carrying a country that keeps calling their pain politics. If America has a soul left, it is living inside the people who refuse to stop caring. Your cruelest people may have the microphone right now, but your best people still have the moral weight.

Killing a civilisation is a war crime. Threatening it is obscene. No country that does this is a worthy ally or friend of Australia. The world needs to respond with action to prevent these crimes.

Get a load of Obadiah Ice at the left. "Why art Thou resisting?"
A picture from Ken Klippenstein of a couple Ice guys at th airport. One seen from the back wearing a plate carrier Police Ice vest. At the left of the image is a redheaded guy with a buzz cut, wraparound shades on his head, no mustache, and a 6" red beard. He is wearing a shirt that is straining under his "fitness" and has his thumbs looped in his plate carrier like he's wearing fucking overalls and is planning on churning the shit out of your butter. There is a blurry crowd in the background. None of them appear to be contemplating violence despite the situation

Hypothetically if someone was accused of having sex with goats by over 30 different people and regularly denied it, but also dropped very public hints about how much he liked to have sex with goats for decades, and ran a goat pageant to find the best looking goats, and was best friends with someone who got convicted of fucking goats and trafficking goats to friends all over the world who also liked to fuck goats, and his name was in the classified goat fucker chronicles
5,000 times, and he wished other goat fuckers well in prison, what do you think the odds are that person is also a goat fucker?

when I was young, i used to wonder how people like this would fare in life, as they didn't seem suited for gainful employment. it turns out, the internet allowed them to accumulate a massive audience of similar idiots, enriching them and turning them into a presidential advisor
Polymarket tweets: "BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani to require all New York elementary school students to learn Arabic numerals."

Laura Loomer replies: "You know things are bad when you can't tell if this is real or a joke.

Dear God. It's real. Isn't it?"
