Holy shit FOUR members of the ethics committee in Denmark that gave the green light to allow the widely-condemned RFK Jr-funded trial to proceed in Guinea-Bissau have now resigned in protest This quote is 🔥 Great reporting by @melodyschreiber.com www.theguardian.com/society/2026...
Stig Børsen Hansen, a founding member who was one of two reviewers who presented the study to the Danish committee, resigned from the group in protest on Friday, citing major ethical issues with the study.

“You are now enrolling newborns in a lottery to test a hypothesis,” Hansen said. The children who are randomly selected not to receive the birth dose of the vaccine, those who “lost the lottery”, face in their earliest days the risk of contracting hepatitis B, which can cause irreversible lifelong damage. “They contract hepatitis B in the context of being part of a research project,” Hansen said, which made their infection happen, in effect, “by design”.

Three other members of the committee have also resigned in protest.

Typically the pattern has always been a Republican president comes in, slashes taxes for the rich and cuts social programs to the bone, most of the time gets involved in a war, and by the end of their presidency, we have high prices and people get little to no help. Their taxes go to the war machine instead of social programs.

People get fed up, vote in a Democrat, who then spends the majority of their time in office trying to reverse and cleaning up the mess of the previous administration, which is even harder if Republicans have a majority because they block and stonewall. Near the end of the Dem’s term, people get frustrated because they didn’t see as much change as they were promised.

In comes the Republican candidate, promising to bring sweeping relief and change if voted in. People forget how they were burned last time, vote the Republican in, and the cycle repeats.

"SARS-CoV-2 is linked to “an unusually high level of ‘indiscriminate’ killing of T cells,”6 says Leitner, adding that this observation is “reminiscent of” measles, which can cause immune amnesia by depleting memory B cells"

Jeimy says that many infants and toddlers admitted to hospital with rare infections since 20225 weren’t yet born when pandemic restrictions were in place, and they therefore couldn’t be experiencing immunity debt. They were, however, likely exposed to SARS-CoV-2.

Wolfgang Leitner, chief of the Innate Immunity Section at the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), speculates that covid-19 may somehow impair the immune system’s “memory” of past infections, potentially making even healthy people more vulnerable to future pathogens. He wonders whether the virus leaves lasting scars on the immune system’s T cell defences. “But that’s just (my) hypothesis,” he emphasises in an email.

Immunity reset?

SARS-CoV-2 is linked to “an unusually high level of ‘indiscriminate’ killing of T cells,”6 says Leitner, adding that this observation is “reminiscent of” measles, which can cause immune amnesia by depleting memory B cells...

Hope you all enjoyed your jokes about maskers a couple weeks ago, also, I’m sure unrelatedly, the right wingers are fantasizing about murdering us.
At one point in the script, a 40-year-old woman wearing a "covid mask" rams her car into an ICE van, killing a Latino agent; she is subsequently murdered herself by the slain agent's partner. This plot point has drawn attention due to its direct parallels with the circumstance that led to the killing of Good in Minneapolis by ICE agents in January.
