If Marvel really killed the new Ultimate Universe because of USM outselling ASM, I'm betting the chances of USM eventually getting a movie or tv adaptation was part of their calculation lol It still has a good chance of happening (like Absolute Batman) but it's much lower now since it was so short

Also love how the DCU doesn't revolve around anyone. Not even Superman The MCU at its peak still had an MC in Iron Man. Even the DCAU kinda revolved around Batman Supergirl and Creature Commandos are maybe the only exceptions but it's fine in CC (whole point is the world don't revolve around them)

I LOVE how similar John's journey in Lanterns is to Clark's in Superman. Both men of about the same age whose journey is all about forging their own path and not the path intended for them by their parents. This connection IMMEDIATELY makes the idea of them forming a Justice League feel natural.
