It does seem hard to ignore this conclusion. It may seem hard to top letting Civil War break out, but Buchanan wasn’t the root cause of that. Failing to fix something is less bad than breaking it. However less bad than Civil War our fate may be (and it could be worse), it is 100% Trump’s doing.
