They've done The Sound of Music and Pretty Woman before too. I'd like to see them try something a bit off kilter and do something from cult films like The Wicker Man or Tommy or The Good The Bad and the Ugly or The Long Good Friday.

I have been thinking about that, and I'm open to the suggestion that Netflix and Warners have this secret pact to do this to get revenge on the Ellisons. It ends up nearly ruining Skydance, so Netflix come in as a white knight at the end to save Warners.

Judging by Warner Bros. luck with conglomerates owning them, going all the way back to Kinney Leisure owning them from 1969-1972, how long will it be before Skydance end up in a financial nosedive and they spin-off Warner's to survive? Or the Democrats order them to split?

I think it's even more amusing that Mike Myers did it because of a potential lawsuit he was in with Universal Pictures, this was part of the settlement. He could have lazily phoned his performance in, but no, he dialled it up to 11, with voices and multiple characters, all while dressed as the Cat.

The Bed Sitting Room is one of British cinemas best kept secrets, it's a shame it nearly killed Richard Lester's career. United Artists ABSOLUTELY HATED this film, and delayed it's release by a year. More fool them for greenlighting it WITHOUT reading the script first. D'Oh! 🤦‍♂️
