In memory of Jeremy Thomas, I want to share what for me is his best production. Terry Gilliam's Tideland (2005), a dark horror film disguised as a fantasy film. It's a slow-burner, but it pays off. The stupid critics at the time completely missed the point of this film, I was in tears at the end.

I've been watching Legend (1985) in tribute. Anyone who agrees to be put under so much make up and still delivers an amazing performance that steals the show deserves our respect.

Tim Curry as Darkness in Ridley Scott's Legend (1985), the elaborate make-up by Rob Bottin took 5½ hours to apply! 😳

Good to see this HTV West poster on tonight's show. I noticed Patrick Dromgoole on the top left, he was HTV West's programme controller, and behind scary children's shows like Children of the Stones. Dromgoole is still with us at 96 and in 2011, he appeared on Come Dine With Me! Now that's scary! 😳

I know Weymouth was a bit of a no-man's-land between TVS and TSW, although leaning slightly towards the latter. I nearly went for all these tapes down in Weymouth, but with no way of getting them from the seller to the hotel, let alone Carlisle, I had to let them go. 😞

The one that got away. The tapes in Weymouth I had to let go, as there was no way I could get them all back to Carlisle.
