It is harrowing but it's also about the unshakable determination to do the right thing so also unbelievably life affirming at the same time

I've not read Jane Austen in a long time but every time I see an adaptation of her work I'm reminded of again how right it is that she is the beating heart of British literature

Really enjoyed this but I felt like the tone was a tad uneven. Haven't read the book in going on 20 years, and I know Austen is humorous, but it felt like it was slightly too afraid to be sincere and serious and fell back on humour to avoid going deeper into real emotional truths

I used to work in a divorce law firm and I've seen the world's most acrimonious breakups, arguments and petty fights and yet nothing tops wanting halvsies of a scratty decade old tent with patched holes

I've been thinking about this and my theory is that she must have her own tent in the UK and doesn't want to pay to bring it. Like how practical is owning part of a tent in a country you don't live in even if it wasn't been used that weekend.

I've searched this article and I can't find a single pound sign. My theory is that if they were taking it to festivals, it was probably not expensive to begin with. Argos lists several for under £50. The only unreasonable thing here is that we all had to read these words with our own eyes.
