Not watching it, but good to see my TL filling up with anti-Rajan material. Do it every Friday night please.

I know that my students are zoning out on me because I referred to CPE Bach as an eighteenth-century softboi and nobody blinked an eye.

Daughter, freshly at university, texted for some washing machine advice. Told her a friend and I used to get cans, and watch the washing going round like it was TV. This was the 90s, though.

Dreamt I was in a bar in New York, eating small plates and drinking a crisp white wine, when my Mum called to see if I wanted to go to a "Pot Noodle Beetle Drive" in Ilkeston (Derbys.). I then had to explain all 3 elements of that to my companions, who, being hipsters, thought it sounded great.

Back from a trip taking my daughter off to university. Naively thought it would be a fun weekend away with a short sad part, not one of the very worst weekends of my life, during which I kept bursting into tears every hour or so. Plus off the charts anxiety.

Been trying to decide which Coltrane to stick on today, and I think I'm going for Newport '63 (the one w/ Roy Haynes in for Elvin Jones). Big favourite.
