I spent all that time making a veg stock, then turning it into bone broth, and then soup only to place it in jars and put the jars on the counter to cool to the touch before putting them in the fridge before going to bed. Only to wake up to find them still on the counter. So disappointed in myself

I went to make the stock for my soup and didn't have a pot big enough for all the veggies I had in the freezer and the roasted chicken carcass 😅. I'm making it in batches. I have a gallon of vegetable stock this morning. I'll add the chicken to it tonight and then make the soup the next day 😂

Making a roast chicken for dinner tonight 🤤. Of course, since I'm only cooking for one person, I'll save one set of leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Cut off some of the good meat and set aside and then use the carcass and a ton of frozen veggies scraps to make broth and then, of course, soup🤤
