Imagine if one of RNA’s most common 3D contacts could switch off and on. We identified the A-minor switch that can reversibly “escape” their tertiary contacts, revealing a dynamic regulatory layer in RNA structure (shown by NMR & Cryo-EM and assayed in ribosomes). #RNA #NMR #dynamics #ribosome

www.nature.com/articles/s41... We detected a third, previously hidden conformation, an intermediate state ES2 in DNA base pair dynamics rewriting a decade old assumption that they are a simple two-state system.

1H R1ρ relaxation identifies a hidden intermediate in DNA base-pairing - Nature Communications
Biomolecules function through motion. Enabled by improved applicability of ¹H R1ρ NMR, we identify a hidden DNA intermediate and show how small molecules reshape its structural landscape, highlighting...

A question for fellow Topspin users: The pp sf_mehmqcgpph from the Bruker standard library has been working well for years, but recently I've been getting this error and the acquisition aborts after only a fraction of increments has been acquired. A console reboot didn't help - any ideas? #nmrchat

Perspective by Higman et al: deposition of data for titrations, relaxation rates, PREs, etc in a standardized way, e.g. the NEF format could help develop AI models to accurately predict the dynamic behaviour of a protein from the primary sequence alone. #NMRchat doi.org/10.1007/s108...
