Today’s #obliquestrategies card. At first glance reverse seems really negative. An abandonment. But when I think of reverse, it’s more when you’re driving along, glance something and want to get a proper look. I’m taking this as an excuse to slow down and have a proper look.

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

The image is of a four panel comic. The title reads "Poltergeist".
In the first panel we see a woman with a worried expression on her face. She says, "stuff keeps moving around my house."
In the second panel the same woman says "I'm terrified. I can't sleep."
In the third panel we see a ghost holding a candle and a pillow that reads "live laugh love". The ghost is zooming through the house.
In the fourth panel we see the same ghost hanging up a frame and thinking, "home decor is my passion".

Watching War of the Worlds (2005), and I have a lot of opinions about this version, but just noticed that the scene where Rachel sees the body in the river is a direct nod to the opening of the acid western, The Hired Hand, especially the way the light off the river shimmers as she watches the body
