FS1 just flashed "There are three active 'captains' in baseball-Salvy Perez, Judge, Yelich." As described in the new Infinite Inning ep, it was only this week I realized the Cardinals' team captain in the 1940s was a convicted sex offender. No one cared/I will never think of "captains" the same way.

Many years ago, a friend working as a nanny for a young single woman came across a check written to her boss by a male acquaintance. On the memo line he had written "for sexual favors." She figured it was a joke, but also thought maybe it wasn't. So from then on she had unanswered questions.
