Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Only critical comment is that I was expecting more tricks of perspective, especially as the first main area packs quite a few of them in. 000
Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Roll platinum* on Toem 2, gorgeous little game. Playing the original via PS Plus a few years back made me day-one on the sequel purchase, and still as lovely as ever. (* was just the one, final unlockable outfit that I had to I look up online) 100

Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Some lovely rainwalk stuff coming out of Edam in the Netherlands (see also: Bergen in Norway). Bit intense this one, though - the storm apparently registered over 300,000 lightning strikes, and the cameraperson is making it more of a rain-jog. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKx4...youtube.comWalking in the Netherlands' Biggest Thunderstorm in Years • 4K ASMRYouTube video by Jeronimo Ambience 010
Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Remains a fascinating series re: the ways it's trying to service three whole decades. Still saving at typewriters and healing through daft herbalism serves a certain campness, but how much should it keep holding on to, going into its fourth decade? 020
Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Feels ripe for the next RE4/RE7-style shake-up. Not much I'd directly criticise, more a sense of it lacking momentum, feeling very stop/start. Uneasy mix. 110
Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 01/10/2026That's a wrap on Resident Evil Requiem. It was *fine*? Felt like it was aiming for a greatest hits compilation, but ended up with a decent remix album. The fact that I didn't want to immediately restart another run-through was pretty surprising. 110

Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 25/09/2026The WhatsApp group for the building I live in is currently at war with itself: Half of people begging the landlord to put the heating on else they will *literally die*, the other half actually dying from four months of living in flats struggling to bring things down below 30 degrees. 030

It’s The Thing via Die Hard, but slapstick. A genius approach to the material. 032
Steven Bailey @stevenbailey.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I spend huge amounts of money and time on games, but I am also 100% the world's worst customer, just so inconsistent and erratic and prone to all kinds of nonsense. You should never make games for me! (And that is a good, good thing) 000
