I really think this goes for national government too. Large numbers of people voted Labour because you can’t get an ambulance to come to your house any more and there’s sewage on all the beaches. If those things aren’t solved, then… where does the electorate go from there?

I agree. You do not improve a country by refusing to tax those most able to pay. And while we’re on it, the change in Stamp Duty for people downsizing for whatever reason, ie not first time buyers, is horrendous. Tax the fucking rich, what is it that governments don’t get about this🤷‍♀️🤬🤬🤬🤬
