Women in business are all too familiar with the ways men use sexualised environments - lap dancing clubs, alcohol-soaked happy hours, Hooters - to create gated decision-making & networking spaces that we are excluded from. Epstein's child rape island is unique only in scale, not in substance.

Today, we launch a new campaign: Double Injustice. Naomi Hunte and Fiona Holm were killed by the same violent partner. On both occasions, the police knew about risks to their lives but did not take any effective action, and both times the result was the woman’s death. Both deaths were preventable.

Still, handy to know that a vote for @greenparty.org.uk is a vote for the gambling industry lobby, which makes a profit £14b a year. Ladbrokes do things like paying £1m to the victims of a thief who had a gambling addiction in return for not being reported to the gambling commission. Cool, cool.

It is a reminder that people are more than willing to look away if it benefits them. That when perpetrators are white and powerful, they are able to hide in plain sight, using their privilege to silence and dismiss survivors while they continue to harm with impunity.
