So… I have verified that I’m an adult. Only to get the dms back (so my significant other could send me cat pics). Is there a setting to switch off mature content again? It was a nice couple of days of not seeing… things I don’t want to see?

And back to business. Have three color wheels to finish, one to draft, a small one to make from scratch. And a humongous box of paints (100 colors!) to tackle not sure yet on what scale even. #colortheory #colorwheel #womenwhodrawwithpencils #femalesrtist

I guess it doesn’t look that bad? I’m somewhat a fan. Audiobook is my comfort book, I listen to it back to back… to back sometimes. And I was a bit worried when cast was released, I don’t particularly enjoy Gosling as an actor. I’m gonna be openminded and happy about it. youtu.be/m08TxIsFTRI?...

Parts of alt text are divided by color, including identify who, expression, description, colour, and interesting features. The finished description reads “A capybara looking relaxed in a hot spa. Time to bite the bullet and figure out Brit’s fascination with David Hockney. Not my favorite artist, so I’ve borrowed four books from the library to try and understand the phenomenon.

OK, this is wild. In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them. It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*. What the HELL? 1/

Being a bit sad today (politics, cost of living, property ladder, no pets rental etc). Being an immigrant cut off from cultural/family financial/emotional safety net sucks too much sometimes. Went for a cuppa to my elderly neighbor and introduced him to blueberries and pastel de nata. ⬇️

Another Caran D’Ache color wheel in the making. Saves a bit of time looking up same colors on other Caran D’Ache color schemes I’ve done previously. A lot of matches with pastel pencils (I’m currently making). #colortheory #colorwheel #carandache #artwip

A draftsman table with three framed color wheels and one in the making: small paper samples of colors spread on a glued together large color wheels schematics. Starting at 12 colors go from yellow to green to teals to blues at 6 to purples to reds to skin tones and oranges. Blacks and whites are in the center. Colors go from dark in the middle to light at the edges.

Yeah having second thoughts on settling. Growing suspicion I’ve majorly fucked up deciding to stay in Scotland for the next 5/10 years. This is such bs. There’s no such thing as uncontrolled migration. It’s hard and very expensive to get in Uk, standard of living here sucks (less in Scotland tho).
