I really wish it wasn't dead and buried after the commercial failure of the Vita. Frustrates me immensely since the Vita was also ahead of its time, but much like the original PSP, Sony didn't seem to care to market for it.

My fix for programs not working is to pull my hair out, restart, and when that doesn't work, think of the hundred different threats I give directly to my PC. And when my computer is intimated, only then will a restart of any given process will be effective. There's a 40k joke in there somewhere...

FE: Fortune's Weave is the first FE game I haven't brought right on release in a long while. Chalk it up to FE: Engage being hot garbage, and the price of just a Switch 2 in general. I can't justify the price of the "Nintendo exclusives machine", Sony looking to replicate that too sucks.

With everything that has happened over the last 48 hours, I want to bring the conversation back to where it belongs: to the Palestinian people who are still being killed, still living under military occupation, and still fighting for their freedom.
I will be donating the entire $1 million of my net earnings from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour to six organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people. And I invite Robert Kraft to match my donation. Whatever we disagree about, perhaps we can agree on this: Palestinian lives are worth protecting. A Palestinian life is no less valuable than any other life on this earth.
That is what this has always been about. Not me. Not a tour. Not the headlines or the controversy. It is about Palestinians right to freedom, dignity and safety in their own homeland. Writing a check is one of the least costly forms of solidarity available to me. I am doing it because I can, and because these organizations are doing the work while much of the world debates it.

Self-care is important, but from what is commonly referred to as "self-care", things like resting, or doing hobbies, spending time with the people you like etc. All that now, for me, seems to be either diminishing returns or completely ineffective. I think I involuntarily box myself into corners.

I should be more capable of things, and more confident to do things. Most afternoons though, I find that there's another chore or three that's more important. By the time time the weekends here, a lot of my admittedly small bandwidth for people is exhausted, and would rather hide from the world.

I love being a support person for people, to feel like someone can rely on my presence and input makes me feel valued. I care for those close around me. It's also not to say that these people don't help, I've been offered suggestions many times over, and I appreciate the reciprocal love I receive.

I end up actually communicating my struggles very well now, I've found. It's just enacting any solutions seems to require so many prerequisites that I get overwhelmed. Of course "one step at a time." But what happens when that step feels like you're treading waist high water? It's pretty difficult.

I know that the act of "putting your knuckle to the grindstone" may fix a lot of problems I seem to be having, but I struggle with painting myself a target and goal to work towards. I usually get home and I'm just stuck in waiting mode for my next shift, I struggle to find enjoyment in my hobbies.

Depression for me is weird right now. I know I'm not as depressed as I was a while back, but I've been worse than I usually am lately. I've found myself feeling things such as "is this all there is to life?" I keep wondering to myself what I could be, but my analysis paralysis keeps me frozen.

AAA gaming isn't for the gamer anymore, I've found a lot of it's going the way of Hollywood and trying to generate "spectacle for income." All big three (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo) have just decided to give us varying ways to extract consumers for profit, and to not foster the community in any way
