Learned in my 30s after a life of avoiding it! The first few weeks are truly hell and you're scared all the time but it does get better and then you wonder why you waited so long to get over these few weeks. You're not the most confident for a year or more but the pure terror does ease off.

Instagram subtlety updated the app so that now instead of swiping right to get back to home from your messages you have to pass through reels in between. Just a gross update to get you to watch short form video - it literally shocked me the first few times as the reels play at full volume.
