Burnham accuses Russia of spreading far right narratives and Reform UK’s former Welsh leader took cash to do so but is Zia Yusuf taking Russian cash or doing this for £72m from Harbourne and Delo, which may well have originated in Russia.

This is probably the easiest reform we can make. The EU has already done it - if we end banking subsides, we save £30billion a year. We can use that cash for things that can help people and grow the economy - like restoring the personal allowance for income tax. buff.ly/lCR6wtK

Lots of talk of growth ahead of the Budget, as if it were a baroque puzzle. Our problem is basic. It's that we no longer support the things which facilitate growth: Europe, immigration, higher education, tax simplification, policy stability. These are all choices and could stop making them anytime.

Farage being deliberately misleading by pretending the Govt have only announced that the donations cap will be retrospective as a response to Refuk's recent £76m. In reality, Govt made clear in March that the cap would apply from then. Perhaps if Farage sat in the House more he would have known...
