Gardens and books. Or maybe a walk

This day in a row I've started the day with a litter pick outside my house. Totally disgusting, why do so many people think it's ok to drop their snack packaging outside. This is a residential street, they are probably moments from their own home and bin

Slapstick moment today. Cleaning my parents carpets, carpet cleaner died after 2 minutes. Slipped on the wet carpet, cut my foot on landing & left a trail of blood on the tiny bit of carpet I'd cleaned 😂 Just as well it's a pink carpet ....

It is with a broken heart that I have to share the devastating news that my amazing wife Katy has lost her battle with cancer and passed away. If she touched your life in some small way, please consider donating to Dog’s Trust, using the link below. www.justgiving.com/page/katy-wrathall
I feel incredibly lucky that Katy chose to share her life with me and I have many wonderful memories that I cherish. I have been overwhelmed by the reactions of those of you that have also been fortunate enough to know Katy. She really was a force of nature, her kindness, intelligence and sharp sense of humor were matched only by her unwavering belief in fairness. She had a profound sense of justice, always standing up for what was right and never tolerating inequality, whether it was towards people or animals.
My life has been made immeasurably better thanks to her unfailing love, support and encouragement over the years. If you have also been positively affected by knowing her, I would be deeply grateful if you would consider making a donation to Dogs Trust-a charity Katy believed in with all her heart. Her love for animals, especially rescue dogs (as Sam, Spud, Ezzie and Mouse* would affirm), was something she carried with her every day. It feels like the perfect way to continue her selfless legacy of kindness and care.
