An Arizona man that fatally shot another male in a road-rage incident will be resentenced after an AI-generated video of the victim forgiving him was improperly used during sentencing. The initial judge said he felt that the AI-generated depiction of the victim portrayed “genuine forgiveness.”

It's really tedious to send a complaint to a supplier about their shoddy practices, and the response comes back as a regurgitated version of your words, spat out by an LLM. It's just showing that the supplier can't even be arsed enough with customers to get a human to respond with their own words.

My NRS reader's ticket has expired, so I need to go get a new one. This requires two passport photos. The only passport photos I have are the ones I got taken for the original card to be issued. I don't look any different. Can't I just reuse the photos? Also: why no option for digital photos?

I kind of find Bloomsbury's commitment to making their ebook platform as awful as possible quite impressive. Want to be able to actually find an ebook? Want an author to go with the book title? Want an edition number? Want an ISBN? All apparently outrageous and illogical demands to make.
