couldn't reply (broke my phone) back in july i had a strat that was v really popping off and then it just crashed in august, suddenly, all at once. had to retire it while i was still slightly ahead september has been very good but the sheer scale of the july-august swing makes it feel underwhelming

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. I also gotta say, "vote for me because the other guy is too old" is a bit of a cringe message. There's merit to the idea that we need younger leaders, but coming from Moulton it felt like avoiding actually telling me what he wants to do. "Don't worry about it! Look, I'm young!"

the article clearly doesn't understand the meta, e.g. claiming both that mention is unbeatable and the yes side is systematically overpriced but stock market investments tend to go up over time if you aren't day trading and manage risk properly PM gains have to be won off the opps
