Scholastic sent me a whole box of paperback copies of Sorcerer’s Stone that I sure didn't order. When I asked why, my rep told me they're sending complimentary giveaway copies to random schools that do Book Fair.

A new Handbook of Evolutionary Psychology has just been published, in which it is claimed that the human species is polytypic: not only is race biologically meaningful but the races are distinct enough to be considered subspecies. Published by Elgar. In 2026.
Chapters in Part III take stock of the current state of evolutionary psychology, by casting wider attention to other social and behavioral sciences and assessing the field's influence on them. In Chapter 11 ('Evolutionary psychology and anthropology'), Heiner Rindermann identifies three major forces that oppose scientific anthropology: Religion, National Socialism ('Nazism'), and woke leftist ideology. Ironically, in this sense, woke left ideologues, who include most anthropologists themselves, geneticists, and other university academics, share much in common with the Nazis in their common opposition to scientific anthropology.
Rindermann's extensive review of the literature leaves no doubt that humans are genetically polytypic and contain different biological races or 'subspecies' At the end of the chapter, Rindermann delivers devastating rebuttals to all potential arguments against the notion of races/subspecies among humans.

I like the family estrangement articles because they are always about spoiled, selfish adult children cutting off their parents for no reason, and they are never about the fact that 40% of homeless youth are queer, like I wonder how that happened hmmmmmmmm

screenshot of a wikipedia article entitled Russell Crowe's jockstrap with the text:

Russell Crowe's jockstrap is a leather jockstrap that was part of a costume worn by actor Russell Crowe in the 2005 film Cinderella Man. In 2018, the jockstrap was auctioned off and was bought by comedian John Oliver, who in turn donated it to Alaska's last operating Blockbuster Video store. However, after the closure of the Blockbuster, the jockstrap eventually returned to John Oliver's possession.

Andrew Pierce has always been a disgusting right wing scrote as evidenced by being a gay man who thinks like this. It’s been lucrative for him
In a BBC documentary in 2018 about Greg Owen and the court case National AIDS Trust v NHS Service
Commissioning Board, Pierce strongly criticised the idea of taxpayer-funded PrEP, a preventative medication to protect against contracting HIV:
"That's what this is about: indulging gay men who don't want to use a condom. Well that's outrageous.
Why should the taxpayer subsidise a reckless sex life of people in the gay community?"[17]

one thing I can't seem to deal with is how stupid, arbitrary, irrelevant to anything that actually matters, all the problems are. it's all just made up! the ones that have been going on for thousands of years are stupid. the brand new ones that keep getting invented every twenty seconds are stupid.

sent this blog post to my labour MP
email subject: Please read this.

email contents:

Hi Michael,
I would really appreciate it if you could read this blog post from a parent of a trans child in the UK who is having to move their entire family to another country because of extremely harmful transphobic rhetoric and policies. Policies your government has put and is putting in place, even as the new prime minister talks non stop about "hope".

I don't think I want a reply to this email, I don't think I can take another "dignity and respect" when people in my community including children (especially the children) are being treated so badly they are literally fleeing the country. I'm sure you've seen the statistics on how far the UK has fallen in terms of LGBTQ+ rights. Your party and government are the ones who could make life better for people like me, and people like the child in this post, but they are actively choosing to make things worse.

I hope you read this blog post and I hope it makes you feel something. It's made me feel something I've been trying to hold off for a very long time now: despair.
