Currently rewatching s1 and 2 as I wait (semi)patiently for s3 to come to the UK…

Very much so! Did a rewatch of season one last week and we’re currently on episode 3 of the new season.

I accidentally wore one blue shoe and one black shoe to my graduation. (Same style, different colour.) Didn’t notice until I was at the station so I couldn’t do anything about it. No one noticed. But I was so aware of it all day…

Ooh! Thanks for the heads-up!

I have goosebumps even thinking about it now. And it’s my favourite part of the score, without a doubt.

I ‘accidentally’ bought this the other day when I wandered into a new local shop and discovered it. Couldn’t pass up on Pippin. But yes - Eomer and Faramir were tempting too…

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

The view from my ‘bus stop’ (ie outside my house). An open gate leads to a bare field in winter with patchwork hills in the distance, partly covered in snow. The cloud is low and there is the beginning of a rainbow rising from the central hill.

THREAD. The definitive list of the absolute best interdimensional portals I have photographed on walks in the British countryside. 1. Gateway To The Land Of Leaping Dogs.

I took this photo on the Teign Estuary in Devon in spring 2022. I thought I was just taking a photo of an attractive hole in an old tree. It was only when I got home and looked through my camera roll that I saw the leaping dog, who I'd caught perfectly framed, mid-leap, totally by chance. I remembered the dog immediately, because of what an annoying twat it had been.

Omg. WTF is Happening? @lalahaenzy.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again. #Pinks #ProudBlue

Our chosen charity is Mary's Meals They work in some of the world's poorest countries to ensure children attend school by offering the promise of a free and nutritious meal. We hope our little calendar can raise some much-needed funds for them More: www.marysmeals.org.uk #NumenorFaithfulCalendar

What charity will the profits be going to?

Mary’s Meals is a Scottish-based charity that serves nutritious school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The promise of a good meal attracts these hungry children into the classroom, giving them the energy to learn and hope for a better future.

I sit down in a café and on the wall opposite is a sign that says ‘I want you to know that there are brighter days waiting for you, even if it’s impossible to see that right now.’ And it is just a printed sign, written by someone I don’t know, and it’s not really for me, but it makes me feel good.

What a great question! I love Bear McCreary’s music. His soundtracks are amazing and he puts such thought and passion into them.

#frankenstein is an incredible film. But equally beautiful is the outpouring of creativity that surrounds it - artists and craftspeople showing what they contributed to it, and SO many people being inspired by the film to make art in their own way. Creativity begets creativity. @realgdt.bsky.social
