The frustration of buying a single ticket for an event... Can't buy an aisle seat, can't buy a seat *next* to the aisle, can't leave a single seat. Just let me sit where I want! 😭😭😭

Yesterday I got 3 different 'it's about to rain!' notices from my weather app. No rain. Barely a cloud. Today I got a notice for excessive heat. It's currently 42° C...

The second we get a hint of humidity everyone starts getting excited about how it won't be as hot during the monsoons that they forget what's coming for us. The rise of our greatest enemy. *Mosquitoes* #monsoonseason

The most annoying part about insomnia is the fact that I have all this 'free' time where I *could* be writing, but stringing words together takes so much effort and at a certain point I have to take pity on my future self who will have to decipher the typos *and* my handwriting. #writing #insomnia

Recently, FamilySearch digitized and uploaded tons of microfilmed records, including many from 18th-century Massachsuetts. They're using some sort of AI to transcribe/summarize the handwritten documents. I've noticed that the AI strips out references to race and enslavement in 18thc documents.

The Voting Rights Act is essentially dead and it’s quite possible that we will, like when a similar SCOTUS gutted civil rights at the fall of Reconstruction, see a disappearance of much of the Black congressional representation, especially in the most heavily Black states, which are in the South.

10 of #TROP Faithful/Faithful-adjacent will be featured in the calendar, with Miriel and Elendil covering two months. That's twice the sexy 😜 We decided to include Estrid, mainly to boost the female character quota, as without her we'd be left with only Miriel and Earien. #NumenorFaithfulCalendar

What characters will be featured in this calendar?

All 10 featured characters are the Faithful of Numenor as depicted in the Rings of Power TV series.

** we also made the decision to included Estrid as a Faithful-adjacent character, to increase the female character quota, and as she spends a lot of time with Isildur.
