ok yup i'm done here and never coming back to this site. even after being misgendered (and reporting it, which did absolutely nothing) this fucking asshole comes back and harasses me more. clearly no one at bluesky cares
the same man from my quotes came to my post and started yelling at me again (even though i did not mention him). he wrote:

"Let me explain something to you, honey sweetie little fragile baby.

YOU want to reserve the right to be a bigot.

I want no bigots to feel safe.

It’s that simple. Shove your bigotry up whatever hole/s you possess.

Please note: I’m replying at your invitation, because after relentlessly pinging me your ego couldn’t stand being told to go away, and you posted screenshots and lied about your interactions.

So here we are, and you’re being told off in the exact manner you deserve. Examine your own heart."

it's actually simpler than that. they think trans people don't exist, that it's all a delusion. because they don't approve of trans people (or gay ppl, etc), they think we should be shunned until we are pushed out of the public eye or die. that's why they want to deny us treatment or affirmation

i am sick of how many people on this site are abusive, transphobic assholes and how no one seems to care. i'm so close to quitting this site right now notice how i told him that he misgendered me and instead of apologizing, he calls me "hon" condescendingly? i'm not an idiot: "hon" is misgendering
i quoted matt kent @ https://bsky.app/profile/pharmkent.bsky.social because he was harassing me. his post reads "You know where the block button is."

i quoted and said: "it's actually ridiculous how many people on this website will insert themself into your conversations with other people, start harassing you, and then go "you can just block me" when you tell them to fuck off. i shouldn't have to block people bc they can't understand basic boundaries. abusive shit"

he replied: "OoooOooooOoo “boundaries” she says while pinging me so I’ll get a notification."in response to the first screenshot, i said: "oh and now you're misgendering me? you're a real piece of shit. i hope you have the day you deserve"

he replied: "All you had to was stop tagging me in posts and you wouldn’t have to see or hear from me.

But you couldn’t resist. Sorry hon, block me or leave me alone."

this image depresses me. it's like this area had all the beauty, life, and soul drained from it. humans decimated the natural landscape, only to create a place that's truly dead and empty

btw if you're so petrified of doing a bad job that you can't even start, then what you need isn't advice on how to make comics. you need to learn to embrace being messy and bad at things and being okay with that because it's necessary, and actually it's GOOD. being messy is WONDERFUL

this just started and i'm already losing my mind and screaming Western white folk basically putting an AI avatar on stage and pretending it is a refugee from sudan — literally interacting with it as if it is a “woman that fled to chad from sudan” just fucking shoot me
Through the case study report, "Ask Amina" and "Ask Abdalla" – experimental agents representing a refugee in Chad and a combatant in Sudan – participants will gain insights into how these technologies might transform field operations while navigating complex ethical terrain. The workshop will address critical questions about representation, power dynamics and data rights. Participants will:

I see your chatGPT is my best friend and raise you chatGPT is my child's emergency medical provider
An r/chatGPT post from like 4 days ago titled ChatGPT helped me during my son's emergency

My 3yo son went into febrile seizure. For anyone who never experienced it-it's a big shock- his eyes started to move around and his body started to change color (blue-ish lips, red arms), he went rigid and started to shake.

Watching your baby in this state can cause anyone to panic.

Unfortunately his first seizure happened 2 years ago, so I was aware of what was happening. Still, I was told by the doctors that after he becomes 2 years old it should not happen again.

So while I did realise that it was a seizure, I was confused that he had it at this age. I decided to talk to ChatGPT and tell it what was happening. At first it tried to reassure me to keep his temperature down, but when I told it that he is still shaking, GPT told me to call the ambulance and time the seizure. I did that and while the ambulance was coming, my son went into full seizure, his head moved backwards, his arms locked and he clanked his teeth. When EMTs arrived, they asked me how long the seizure lasted and when it started etc.

Thanks to the conversation with GPT I was able to give them all information they needed because I checked the log and keep relatively calm because I was prepared for the questions.

I'm sorry if I sound robotic, we came back an hour ago from the hospital and I am half asleep. Just wanted to share a positive experience with using GPT

even with devastating storms that lead to death and mass destruction every year, almost nothing is being done to change things. lobbyists and developers resist improving building codes. the government won't update flood maps. people's homes and lives are at risk from climate change and no one cares

Took me a bit to process how big a deal this report actually is--its thus far the only review to look at the entire body of currently available research. It took two years to conduct, stands at 1,000 pages, and completely contradicts the Cass Review and the common arguments for bans on this care.

Julia- Charlie here from The Times's
communications team, your note made its way to me and thank you for reaching out. As The Times's story makes clear, multiple people familiar with Apple's production facilities is China have put forward their observations on the workforce there.
Our reporting does not make racial or genetic generalizations, but simply cites experts who have experience with the industrial process in U.S. and Chinese factories.
I can also point you to the comments of Patrick McGee, the author of the new book "Apple In China" , on a recent podcast appearance said: "The tasks that often are being done to make iPhones require little fingers. The fact that it's young Chinese women with little fingers like that actually matters. Apple engineers will talk about this."

Third, the United States will be flooded with new armed agents that are virtually unaccountable. The legal and institutional mechanisms by which any of them could be held accountable are almost non-existent, either in criminal or civil court.

The bill provides for $160 billion in border and immigration funding in the next 4.5 years. It's difficult to describe the unprecedented scope of this, but I'll try: tens of thousands of armed agents in every corner of society are going to be virtually immune from state prosecution or civil suits.

THREAD. A lot of attention is rightly going to Medicaid cuts and other very bad things in Trump's bill passed by the House, but there's something else that isn't getting enough attention, that is very difficult to find in any news coverage, but that will fundamentally alter life for all of us.

"it's abusive to tell someone you don't want to engage in an activity right now and they need to stop their behavior. you can only stop your own behavior" cool idea of consent, have you ever applied it to any irl scenarios? bc i can think of some really major violations of consent this allows
