I think we need more weird games right now. More original, Lynchian, unsettling, dreamlike stories that don’t care if you immediately get it. And more games with stories that can’t be made by just pulling together a few familiar tropes.

Went and updated my portfolio with a fragment of a movie script, a 5 page script, my first ever non-fiction short story, a Twine game I made, and my 2 Doom II maps. Maybe I should add some of the pixel art I've done? Writing is my focus, but I like showing I am interested in broadening my skills.

It's impossible to make a glitch-free/bug-free video game. This is because they're not "real". Nothing in the game is "real". It's a simulation. It's all theoretical concepts of "real".

Sthng that maybe I could get better at is teaching folks new to game design that making detailed plans or game design docs at the beginning of the process, or really anything that is more than a page is really just a waste of time. Broad strokes are fine bc no one reads and early changes are fast

Now I don’t go on Threads that much but this user is right. I guarantee the Star Fox Remake we had and the Ocarina Of Time Remake we’re getting will both lead into new games in both those franchises. (Though if Nintendo wants to do Majora’s Mask Remake first I’ll happily take it)
