The people in my FFXIV FC are getting antsy about playing ttrpgs again. I ran Broodmother Skyfortress for them last time, and they managed to take over the skyfortress, mostly by severely damaging everything (including themselves) with fall damage. I'm thinking Deep Carbon Observatory next.

Weird piece of ttrpg advice, but in a sandbox, if you don't want to take a plothook, you don't have to, even if an NPC is really insistent. Had this happen last night, vibe was weird, people were quiet, nobody seemed to want to do the thing they narrated themselves doing. Please, use your agency.

Played the first session of the VtM 6e playtest. Noticing some weirdness, probably just playtest clunk, but I think we managed to navigate it well. I think the difficulty subtracting dice from your pool is very intuitive. [Drama] was... there. I'll need more sessions to form a proper opinion on it.

Seeing a lot of people making characters they "might never get to play" and it makes me wonder how common it is for GMs to accept characters made in isolation, without the player reading their setting or having any connections to the other PCs or the world. Our stance on all AI generated content (Images, Video, Voiceovers, and whatever else LLM based AI gets up to in the future):

At best, they are approximations of street fighter characters as the AI has no clue what it is trying to create. Because of this, there is no street fighter content so they are not allowed. (rule 1)

Also, they aren't allowed per our source rule. As AI sources cannot be tracked, we must assume that they use uncredited sources in the learning data. (rule 5)

Finally, AI images, video, text, and voiceovers are barely any different than posting a screenshot of a google search. The level of effort is so low that we consider it spam (rule 3).

Because of these reasons, AI art and other AI content is not allowed.
