Tea or Coffee, Stars, & Gravity has received its first review (preorders for the book - aanpress.com/aanorder.htm...) and you can't ask for better than 5 stars. "This anthology has an all-star line-up. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves science fiction with heart, humor, and beauty."

A delicious anthology with four main ingredients: coffee or tea, stars, gravity, and terrific storytelling!

“Lines Between Two Stars” by Ana Sun and “Six Things I Wish I Had Brought from Earth” by Abigail Kemske were both quietly devastating and creative in their heart-break.

I loved Callum and Alexander in Leo Otherland’s “Black Hole Song”. There were several beautiful lines of dialogue that I’m going to bookmark once my hard-copy order comes in.

“Tourist Trash” by Elad Haber has one of the best opening lines I’ve ever read.

I really enjoyed the characters and worldbuilding in “Intergalactic Truck Stop” by Sarena Ulibarri. I looked up the author afterward hoping there was more set in this universe.

There were some really fantastic pieces that played with the structure. For example, there was one story where the POV changed from third to first person to show a lover’s obsessive unraveling. Another story was a list that told a surprisingly rich story.

Overall, every story was exceptional and memorable! This anthology has an all-star line-up. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves science fiction with heart, humor, and beauty.

I've never seen Montmartre. It has such a presence, fantastical, mutable, irreal in fictions that i can't imagine recognising it in real life. Today's example, @singingtotigers.bsky.social evocative "La bibliotheque d'objets quotidiens" is saturated with a yearning hope of ideas and generosity.

Made it home from @easterconuk.bsky.social intact after battling with 1) chaotic trains; 2) uneven pavements. As it stands, I think the first match was 1-1 and unfortunately I lost the second 1-0. So brilliant to catch up with friends old and new! ✨💕 Hope everyone had smooth journeys home.
