Just about recovered from Saturday’s umpiring. Play delayed until 1415. Off and on several times. Match abandoned at 1800. One team happy: one team not. Half then players happy to get some cricket in: The other half unhappy saying they could have gone home at 1200. Umpires’ lot is not a happy one!

I really hate people who are rude to people working on fast food counters. A bit of politeness towards people on minimum wage doesn’t go amiss. Especially when working in a kitchen, where temperatures are in the mid-40s degC.
