Like data centers, AI has legitimate uses but not everyone wants to use it. And boosters act like its the best thing ever because it makes their job easier or whatever. But overall people want options and have valid points about the dangers of political deepfakes, artist theft, and over efficiency.

My own votes were based on who I follow but also had larger cultural reach (or just seemed to comment a lot). It feels like politicians or influencers to cross post mostly, especially if they are still on twitter (ugh) shouldn’t be considered but that’s my personal opinion.

By my read the Meta settlement essentially REQUIRES Meta to continue and expand its corporate surveillance and data harvesting. It requires meta to "invest" more in its "behavioral" age assurance system, ie monitoring everything you do on the platform and trying to figure out if you might be a teen
