I love how everything about Big Walk inspires us to explore in a playful, non-extractive fashion. Its environments aren’t solely in service to a narrative nor is it a repository of useful items. Even the keys you unlock from puzzles are merely oddities that facilitate further exploration.

Tired as shit of AI companies trying to convince us that AI is 'sentient' or 'conscious', everyone already knows that the only real sentient AIs are the level 9 Melee Ganon CPU and the CPU players in Worms when they hit shots that are a little too good

The fan favorite of the Brandish series was released on the PC-98 in 1994, and that's where it has stayed since. It may be getting an English patch in the future, but as of now this game has always been one of the best kept Falcom secrets on the PC-98. youtu.be/bA7K046_QUc

I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

playing Ford Racing 3 and it's remarkable how refreshing even a budget racing game can feel among the lineup of modern driving games haven't seen any recognizable tracks, instead there's a bunch of pastiche America locations which actually makes the track design more interesting
