Baby has a cold, and I had full-on D&V last night. Frantically trying to rehydrate this morning. 4 pints down in an hour. It's all fun at the Jim household. Partner worried it might be COVID. Baby is also EXTREMELY gassy. Pray for us.

Is it that Utilitarianism can feel a bit "giving the money you were going to spend on that thing you like to several poor people will have a greater increase in overall happiness", and it's not healthy to live in that perpetual guilt? Hospital parking is generally dreadful, and far under capacity for staff numbers, let alone patient/visitor numbers also. And a lot of it is managed by private firms who do use it as a cash extraction mechanism. But with limited infrastructure funds, few will say "let's build a multi storey!"
